Driving Directions to the CRS
Office |
| The
CRS office is located in the Presidio,
part of San Francisco's Golden
Gate National Park. There are four main entrances to the Presidio:
Lombard Gate, Presidio Way Gate, Arguello Gate and the Marina Gate. Click here
for directions to the Presidio Officer's Club. CRS is located diagonally
across the street from the Officer's Club, in Building
97. |
From San Francisco and Points South:
- Travel on Lombard Street WEST, towards the Golden Gate
Bridge. Lombard Street will eventually become 101 and curve off to the
right (which
will then take you over the bridge; you do not want to do this).
- To remain on Lombard, make a LEFT turn at the stop
light, just past Broderick Street, following the sign
for Lombard Street and the Presidio.
- Proceed through the stop sign at Lyon Street and enter
the Presidio.
- Travel straight after the first stop sign (about half
way down the street). You will pass the Letterman Digital Arts Center on your right.
- Make a RIGHT turn at the Stop sign, going down the
hill on Lincoln Street.
- Go straight through the next stop
sign.
- At Funston Avenue (your first possible left), make
a LEFT turn. Continue to the end of Funston (through a stop sign).
- At the top of the hill, make a RIGHT turn on Moraga
Avenue.
- CRS is on the northwest corner of Moraga Ave.
and Arguello Blvd.,
Building
97. (It is west of the flagpole and has a red
cross on the chimney.) There is a sign in front with our name. You
can
park anywhere
across the street (on the other side of the flag pole) or behind the building.
From the Golden Gate Bridge:
- After crossing the Golden Gate bridge, follow signs to downtown/Marina.
- Take the Lombard Street exit. Get into the right lane.
- Take the RIGHT lane, following the "Presidio Exit" signs
, past the row of buildings on your right.
- Turn the first RIGHT (essentially a U-Turn) onto Gorgas
Avenue. This is the street right before you cross Lyon Street (stop light).
- Follow Gorgas Ave. back towards the Bridge. At the stop
sign, make a LEFT to remain on Gorgas Ave.
- At the next stop sign, make a LEFT onto Halleck Street.
- Follow Halleck Street past the Fire Station on your right
and Make a RIGHT turn at the Stop sign onto Lincoln Boulevard.
- Continue on Lincoln Blvd and turn LEFT at the stop
sign onto Graham Street.
- Follow Graham St. to the next intersection (no stop sign).
- Turn RIGHT
at Sheridan Avenue.
- Make an immediate LEFT at Arguello Blvd.
- CRS will be on your right hand side after you pass
the tennis courts.
- CRS is on the
