Marmoleum Floor in
the Entry
The floor covering in the entry of the new CRS building is manufactured from
readily renewable natural raw materials using production processes that have
the lowest possible environmental impact. 'Marmoleum' is made from linseed oil,
finely ground limestone, pine tree rosin, wood flour, organic pigments, and jute
(for the backing). Production waste is re-used by feeding it back into the production
process. The result is that no waste is generated during production. The Marmoleum
floor was donated by Forbo Industries of Hazelton, PA.
